We needed tree work done, including the removal of two dead pines. Atlanta Classic Tree Service had previously done good work for us and again on this occasion did an amazing and impressive job.

Watching how skillfully they positioned their equipment around the utility lines and other obstacles was fascinating. LJK_2768-1280A hoist was rigged high in the tree and used to lower cut branches to the ground. LJK_2805-1280

The efficiency was astonishing. Several branches at a time were attached to the rig, cut, and lowered together.

Cut branches and debris was immediately fed to a chipper and the chips blown into a truck.

The top of the tree was topped and the top part similarly lowered down.

When the bucket truck needed to be positioned, boards were laid out to protect the lawn. Precautions and safety procedures were evident in all activities.

Cleanup was immaculate, even the leaves were raked up and the sidewalk blown clean. The cut logs were covered with a tarp so no pieces of bark or debris would fall from the truck.

The whole process was like watching a ballet – clearly a well-honed team working together efficiently yet carefully. And then, as speedily as they had arrived, they were on their way – a small parade, off to the next job.
